Town Clean-Up Day

Saturday 12 September 2026 — this one has been and gone

The Maxton Beautification Committee is putting out a call for hands to clean up the town together. Everyone meets at Beacham Park, 300 S Austin Street, at 7:00 in the morning and works from there. Bring whatever tools you have — the more that turn up, the more ground gets covered. Water, gloves and sturdy shoes are a good idea.

Who to contact about this event. It is run by Maxton Beautification Committee, not by the Maxton Recreation Commission. For times, registration, costs or any other detail about it, contact Maxton Beautification Committee directly. The Commission does not have those answers. We were not given contact details for the organiser, so what is on this page is everything that reached us. The sign-up on this page is the one part we do handle: the Commission collects it on the organiser’s behalf.
