Vendor fees
If you are booked as a vendor at a Maxton event, this is how the fee works — and the one thing to check before you pay anything.
Confirm your space before you pay. Fees and space assignments at Town property are set by the
Town of Maxton, not by the Recreation Commission, and vendor fees go to the Town’s
general fund. We can take your details and tell you what we know, but we cannot quote you a fee or
promise you a pitch — and we would rather you did not pay for something that is not confirmed.
The order to do it in
- Sign up on the vendor page for the event you want. That gets your details to the people organising it.
- Wait for confirmation of your space and what it costs. That comes back to you in writing.
- Then pay — using the details in your confirmation.
Paying once you are confirmed
Bring your confirmation with you on the day. If you are not sure whether your space is confirmed, call 910-240-4822 before you travel.
What you will need with you
- Your certificate of insurance, if you are selling food or operating equipment.
- The size you actually need — the length of the truck or stall, plus any awning or service side.
- Whether you need power or water, which is not available at every pitch.
